I love cookies. I am a self confessed cookie monster. But not store bought cookies. No sir! I am a fanatic of the warm, fresh, doughy yet crunchy home made variety. They bring a tear to mine eye. I am also a salt freak. So when someone mentioned a salty cookie... I knew it was love.

I spotted the recipe at the wonderful Orangette. Her adaptation of this New York Times recipe is quite possibly perfect. Get your hands on these bad boys here.
