Never a bore in Singapore (forgive my lame rhyming. i'm so tired, it's all i got)

I’ve just returned from a wonderful, whirlwind trip to Singapore for the Audi Fashion Festival/Asian Fashion Exchange (courtesy of the delightful people from the STB). To say I had a busy & eventful schedule would be an understatement. The amount of time spent flying (over 16 hours) and roaming – no, strike that- flailing about the Lion city is directly proportionate to how rested I was. I was one bleary eyed, blister footed albeit happy girl.

I was generously given an outfit from Ben Wu. His pieces are so structural & strong but somehow delicate. I love the draping on the skirt and the blouse is so delicate and feminine. His flight 10 range is a dream, especially the jacket I so loved, pictured below.

I also received some stunning shoes from Raoul. I vistied their store in Parragon (mega mall. Seriously. Mega.). They had some killer shoes on display and I was like a kid in a candy store. More pictures to come...

it's a jungle out there

Singapore. 33 degrees. Balmy Nights. Fashion.

I hopped off the plane a little disoriented and freshened up (very quickly) at my beautiful accommodation; Studio M boutique Hotel. Then with a group of glamourous bloggeratti (including Lady Melbourne) we headed straight to 2 fashion shows (Tiffany & Co/Herve Lager & Marchesa) at the Asian Fashion Festival. I quite possibly had a case of deep vein thrombosis by the end of the evening from the 8 hour flight and the choice of my dear Vivienne Westwood Melissa shoes. But one must wear heels at the Fashion festival. Although, not to breakfast at your hotel. One wears hotel slippers and your strangest pair of pj's for that. And i've got 30 minutes til they stop serving so here i go...

Looks like i will be heading to the Lion City on Friday, courtesy of all the lovely people who voted for me in the 'Singapore with Style' contest! I've got days of chilli crab, singapore slings, fashion shows and parties ahead of me. Tough break, huh?
